Textpattern

Requirements

Textpattern 4.5 requires a web server with:

• PHP 5.2.3+
• MySQL 4.1+
• The PHP mysql extensions
• The PHP XML extension and JSON extension (both included by default in PHP)
• Your PHP.ini file needs to contain a date.timezone setting
• Your MySQL user responsible for communicating with the database requires at minimum the following grant privileges SELECT, CREATE, ALTER, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP, INDEX, LOCK TABLES. Some plugins may additionally require CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES and CREATE VIEW.

In addition to the above minimum requirements, we recommend the following:

• PHP 5.3+, in mod_php or fastcgi mode
• MySQL 5
• PHP extensions:
  • mbstring
  • Zlib
• Apache 1.3+ or 2.0+ with mod_rewrite
• A Unix server OS with locale support

Textpattern probably works on any web server that supports PHP. It is reported to work well on IIS and Lighttpd. Clean URLs are possible on those systems, with the right configuration, but are not officially supported. Read more about suitable Textpattern hosting here.

This label indicates that I could install the script without major problems and I could run the script without the need for major modifications to the original code (except for the usual configuration, of course). The label does, on the other hand, not indicate that scripts without this label would not work properly. The missing of the „tested & working“-label just indicates that I did not yet test these scripts.
