Requirements

Supported Infrastructure

• Operating System: Unix (e.g. Linux), Windows or Mac
• Webserver: Apache (recommended), IIS, NGINX
• Middleware: PHP (see packages for required versions)
• Database: MySQL or any other database system supported by the TYPO3 DBAL (e.g. Oracle, Postgres etc.)
• Hardware: at least 256 MB of RAM. As with all database-driven applications, more RAM is advisable.

• GraphicsMagick (standalone) or ImageMagick
• GDlib/Freetype (compiled with PHP)
• zlib (compiled with PHP)
• Apache with mod_gzip/mod_deflate/mod_rewrite
• A PHP-Cache (e.g. APCu / PHP-Accelerator / OPcache / Zend Accelerator, UNIX/Linux only)

Further individual extensions may require additional software.

Mobile Device Preview

Editors can now view the frontend using the Web>View module to preview the webpage in different device widths. This allows you to simulate the website on smartphone and tablets. The different widths for preview are fully customizable by the integrator.

Multisite Management

With a TYPO3 installation, you can organize and manage any number of websites or applications from a single administration backend. It allows you to either separate or share all kinds of content and access rights across multiple sites. TYPO3 is an ideal tool for distributor websites, product sites, separate microsites or cross-intranet applications.

File Abstraction Layer 2.0

The File Abstraction Layer (FAL) provides a unified interface for the TYPO3 core and extensions to handle files, regardless of where they are stored - locally or in the cloud (e.g. Amazon S3, Dropbox, ownCloud).

Tested & Working

This label indicates that I could install the script without major problems and I could run the script without the need for major modifications to the original code (except for the usual configuration, of course). The label does, on the other hand, not indicate that scripts without this label would not work properly. The missing of the „tested & working“-label just indicates that I did not yet test these scripts.
